SBS
waterproofing membrane - a high performance product with elasticity, resistance and flexibility.
The membrane is composed of SBS modified bitumen, which is oxidized bitumen modified with synthetic rubber. This increases the degree of elasticity by over 1000%, allows flexibility to be present at temperatures below -30C, and heat resistance exceeds temperatures of 110C.
Its strength lies in its reinforcement which is composed of non-woven polyester or glass fleece. This gives the membrane its superior mechanical resistance.
Combining these two products has enabled us to create waterproofing systems that adapt to the needs and conditions of each specific roof.
SBS
waterproofing membrane can be used under tiling, pads and pavers, gravel and on basement walls and rooftops.
How does the SBS waterproofing system work?
Because of the components' inherent properties, the SBS waterproofing system distributes the stress acting upon a crack up to 30cm on either side of its axis. Its superior resistance to fatigue, heat, cold and warping means unprecedented longevity for the roof covering, even under extreme weather conditions.
Easy, effective and all-inclusive systems
Heavy-duty and elastic, our
membrane helps reduce, even eliminate, certain area dividers. In addition, it stands up to normal pedestrian traffic.
Superior Adhesion
Of particular importance is the membrane's use at critical points such as against parapets, drains in particular, vents and projections.
The utmost in waterproofing
With SBS
waterproofing membranes, total waterproofing becomes a reality. The membrane has a complete range of uses for existing buildings and new constructions: roofs, retaining walls, roof gardens, air tightness for walls, bridges and parking decks, concrete slabs, reservoirs and tanks, tunnels, foundations.
Whether you are repairing, replacing an existing roof or building a new one, Wrimco offers you a waterproofing system that meets the specific requirements and environment of your building.
