Master V Mineral is manufactured from a compound based on a selected distilled bitumen modified with polypropylene polymers and reinforced with a glass-fibre fabric. This product exhibits both high dimensional stability and flexibility. The combination of a high performance polymer bitumen and a glass fibre reinforcement provides additional stability to a secondary layer of Master Mineral or Master P 3 mm. Advanced production technology to provide CE Certification ensures a high quality membrane. Garden APP is made of a compound based on distilled bitumen modified with polypropylene and a root-inhibiting compound developed specifically for this use by Bayer chemicals. Plant roots that make contact with the membrane surface are repelled by the root inhibitor Preventol B2, making it ideal for use in planter boxes or for below ground applications where damage via plant roots is a possibility. The bitumen compound is reinforced with a high strength, 180 gram spun bond polyester fabric, which has high mechanical and ultimate-elongation characteristics. The compound assures good flexibility performances at low temperatures. Advanced production technology provides a high quality membrane.
