AUSDRAIN 30mm Drainage Cell creates a permanent non-clogging void between the concrete slab and the soil profile that will not collapse or distort. The 30mm void enables a direct flow of water to designated outlets avoiding the risk of water build-up and penetration. The large surface and capacity void space enables superior drainage efficiency compared to the small voids created by using a gravel system. 

The lightweight nature of this product reduces weight on the structure by 98% over gravel making it the perfect choice for roof gardens and podiums. In addition, there is a 5:1 reduction in the drainage medium height allowing greater soil depth and scope for plantings.   

The AUSDRAIN cell is the strongest product available on the market with a university tested compressive strength up to 1500 kPa. This allows materials to be delivered directly by truck and machinery to spread sand and soil once a minimum of 400mm has been placed over the drainage cell/ filter fabric layer.

Filter fabric is placed over the drainage cell and is supplied in roll widths of 2m and 4m. The fabric, combined with a layer of washed sand, filters the water eliminating staining caused by gravel, stone and soil materials. The drainage cell also acts as a membrane protection layer, however, depending on the membrane it is recommended to use a suitable protection board between the membrane and drainage cell layer.

AUSDRAIN 30mm Drainage Cell is available in 356 x 356mm modules for smaller areas, 356 x 1068mm strips or 1068 x 1068mm interlocked panels for ease of installation on large area projects.

AUSDRAIN 30mm drainage modules are ideal for horizontal drainage in smaller landscaped areas and vertically to assist tanking in planter boxes. The modules are easily placed and cut where necessary providing a continuous drainage layer. Filter fabric is supplied separately and is easily laid over the drainage modules. Where required, the drainage modules can be interlocked to form continuous vertical sections or are simply laid adjacent to one another on flat areas. The modules are supplied in bundles of 2 sqm for easy handling.

AUSDRAIN 30mm drainage panels are supplied in 1068 x 1068 panels and have become the most efficient product for drainage cell installations available on the market. These panels have been used extensively by landscapers, waterproofers and civil contractors in jobs ranging from larger size planter boxes to rooftop podiums of up to 10,000 sqm. The panels comprise of 9 interlocked standard modules which has enabled contractors to cut installation times by up to 3 times, saving valuable time and money on larger projects.

AUSDRAIN 30mm Drainage Strips are supplied in 356 x 1068 pieces and are ideal for narrow planter boxes and landscaped areas, vertically along planter box walls, vertically against footings and foundations and as an efficient trench drainage system to replace conventional silver pipes and gravel methods.

The strips can be easily interlocked to form continuous lengths and can be easily wrapped with filter fabric supplied separately on-site. They provide efficient water collection and discharge through the open void spaces.

industry. Fabrics are available in roll widths of 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0m and up to lengths of 200 lineal

metres. The most widely used fabric for landscaping applications is Geotex 401 which is a polyproylene, staple fibre, needle-punched non woven geotextile. non_woven_geotextile.pdf

The fibres are needled to form a stable network that retains dimensional stability relative to each other. The geotextile is resistant to ultraviolet degradation and to biological and chemical environments normally found in soils.

AUSDRAIN 30mm Walldrain Panels creates a structural void between the wall and the back-fill protecting the waterproof membrane and providing excellentdrainage efficiency. This eliminates the need for gravel as the primary back-fuill material.

The result is a continuous discharge of water preventing any water contact with the wall surface and avoiding damage from hydrostatic pressure. The high compressive strength of the panels withstands heavy compaction as well as ground and structural movement.

AUSDRAIN 30mm, 60mm & 90mm Filter Pipe 

Ausdrain Filter Pipe is supplied in various sizes (30mm, 60mm & 90mm) and provides an efficient and cost-effective alternative to conventional sub-soil drainage applications. The product replaces the need for both silver lines and gravel and provides a highly efficient means to absorb and discharge water.

Filter Pipe is supplied in pre-wrapped lengths with a sleeve on each end for consecutive lengths to slot in to. It is both quick and easy to install and can be easily connected to PVC pipes or fed into stormwater collection pits.
