Liquid Membrane for Internal Wet Area:

Azcothane

is a water based, highly flexible, high performance, polyurethane fortified acrylic emulsion waterproofing membrane formulated for use is demanding exposed, under tile, underground and immersed waterproofing applications. wrimco-Azcothane's formulation complies with AS4858:2004 and is generally applied in accordance with AS3740:2004. It is liquid applied and cures to form a durable, flexible, strong, UV resistant, odourless, seamless, and impervious waterproofing membrane. It does not re-emulsify after it has fully cured making it ideal for long term waterproofing. It will not stain grout or tiles.

Duromastic ACS

is a liquid applied acrylic waterproofing membrane which, when reinforced and fully cured, forms a flexible waterproof lining for showers and other wet areas. It is used for waterproofing shower walls, laundry and WC floors; and sloped mortar beds and shower walls for tiling to prevent deterioration of the tiles which may occur with limestone and similar porous tiles.

Durabit EF

DuraEF (EF is for Extra Flexible ) a water based, latex emulsion waterproofing membrane. It has been tested by CSIRO (report 2947) and meets the criteria of AS4858:2004 Wet Area Membranes.  It is an elastomeric, environmentally friendly membrane designed for both internal and external application. It cures to form a durable, odourless, impervious, seamless membrane that resists re-emulsifying after it has fully even if immersed in water.  It does not stain grout or tiles and has excellent resistance to hydrostatic pressure.

Duromastic P15 -  A good product for bathroom

It is a cross-linking waterborne, high solid content polyurethane membrane. Formulated to provide a membrane with tenacious bond to most surfaces, it is a tough flexible waterproof membrane with a high film strength, that will expand and contract with normal substrate movement. It is supplied as a thixotropic liquid, which is easily applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces. The formulation is fully optimised to ensure quick tack free time, fast cure, excellent chemical resistance and passes the bleach and immersion test requirements of AS:4858-2004.

is a liquid applied co-polymer membrane containing a fibrous filament reinforcing. When fully cured it forms a flexible waterproof lining for wet areas as tested to class II Australian Standard AS:4858-2004 "Wet Area Membranes". This membrane complies to AS:3740-2004 " Waterproofing of wet areas within residential buildings". It forms a waterproof lining to most building materials including reinforced concrete, cement render, water resistant plasterboard and fibre reinforced cement sheet flooring etc. The surface must be firmly fixed to manufacturers directions, free of protrusions, dirt, oil and other contaminants and surface must be dry.

Showerseal

SHOWERSEAL is a clear, high pH, deep penetrating siloxane / silane waterproofing solution. SHOWERSEAL penetrates in to the tissue of the porous substrate and creates a barrier, below the surface, to prevent the ingress of water. SHOWERSEAL is an effective waterproofing solution and stops leaks without lifting tiles or changing the overall appearance of the surface. Showerseal is therefore a quick, easy and economic method of 'stopping leaks in showers'. SHOWERSEAL is capable of withstanding high pH conditions such as found in new concrete, sand / cement beds and lime based mortars. SHOWERSEAL still allows the diffusion of vapours or 'breathing' ability of the substrate.
