DUROPROOF BLF is a fibreglass reinforced roof repair compound used to maintain and repair most roofs and gutters. DUROPROOF BLF is ideal for leaking box gutters, even emergency repairs in rain. DUROPROOF BLF forms a flexible fibre reinforced waterproof lining to all common building materials-metal, asbestos, slate, felt, asphalt, concrete, wood and plastic with typical service life of 5 -10 years.

APPLICATION

Thoroughly clean and remove all loose dirt, rust, oil, flaking paint to give a sound surface. Apply DUROPROOF BLF liberally by brush and roller spreading the compound to a thickness of approx 2mm, taking care to work the compound well into the surface. Spread evenly before the material begins to dry. Two coats may be necessary to ensure an adequate dry film thickness, particularly on rusted surfaces. Rust holes and splits are repaired by laying fiberglass into the first coat, then applying a further coat.
